Spotlight Students

Meet our May Spotlight Students of the Month!  Representing 6th grade Akira Brown
and Ryan Madigan,  7th grade Matea Trogrlic and Elijah Kohlberg-O'Hara, 8th grade
Gina Wallace and Logan Farmer.

Akira's favorite school subject is science and her plans after high school are to attend college
to be a doctor.  Her favorite sport is soccer and she would like to visit Los Angeles one day.
Akira's advice to her peers is, "try your best, don't give up, be patient".  

Ryan is really into baseball.  He says he looks up to Molina because he is a pro MLB player.
He too likes science and if he had $500 he would donate it to Feed My People.  Ryan's advice
is simply, "work hard".

Matea says her proudest moment was being inducted into NJHS.  She looks up to her Mom
because, "she's great and does so much for me."   She spoke of going into the military after 
high school and then college.  She would like to one day visit Italy.

Elijah states his favorite hobby or sport is "listening and creating music" and he hopes to one
day get a job creating music for movies, shows, etc.     If he could visit any one place in the 
world he would choose London.  The best advice to his peers, "see every day as an opportunity 
for greatness".  

Gina's favorites are reading, gymnastics, Grey's Anatomy, and Paris.  She plans to attend college
after high school.  If she had $500 she would donate it to Kids with Cancer.  The best advice Gina 
can offer to her peers is to, "Listen to understand".

Logan's favorite subject is math and he plans to attend college after high school.  He enjoys
gaming as his favorite past time and one day would like to visit Hawaii.  Logan says he looks
up to his dad because, "he works hard".
